Dallas Cowboys legendary wide receiver Michael Irvin is loving what he is seeing from Jalen Hurts on and off of the field.
"I get chills thinking about it," Irvin said. "He said, 'I said to all my playmakers, we cannot just feel the temperature in the room, we must be the thermometer.' Do y'all get how great that is?"
NFL Network's Rich Eisen echoed Irvin's sentiment, saying "I love his story and I love what he's doing."
"We can all gleam some inspiration from those kind of things, where everybody told you you couldn't do it," Irvin said.
Hurts, 24, has the Eagles at 3-0 to start the season and atop the NFL power rankings as one of the league's best teams. Hurts has 916 yards, four touchdowns, and just one interception passing and 167 yards and three touchdowns rushing.
