Eleven-year-old Audrey Soape suffered through a tough year, losing her father and then her grandfather, but this month is off to a much better start thanks to Eagles safety Anthony Harris.

Harris, Audrey’s favorite player, flew out to Texas to accompany her to her school’s “Daddy-Daughter Dance,” also covering the cost for Audrey’s shoes, dress, hair, and makeup.

Audrey’s mother Holly said that Harris told her “Not only will I come, I will treat [Audrey like a princess.”

Harris had a car with a driver come to Audrey’s house to pick her up and take her to the dance, after Holly reached out to the first-year Eagle on social media.

“You gotta cherish these moments,” Harris told NBC 10 in Philadelphia. “You never know how long we have here on this Earth," he added. "So, the people that you care about and you love, show support for them.”
