Report: Eagles interview Kliff Kingsbury for offensive coordinator role

The Philadelphia Eagles have virtually interviewed USC senior offensive analyst Kliff Kingsbury for their offensive coordinator role, according to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

94WIP Midday Show host Joe Giglio says he is in intrigued.

"He coached Mahomes," Giglio said. "He coached Kyler Murray. He just coached Caleb Williams. This guy has gotten a lot of production out of quarterbacks."

Kingsbury, 44, was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2019-2022, his only NFL position.

The Eagles are reportedly parting ways with first-year offensive coordinator Brian Johnson.

Johnson, 36, was promoted from the Eagles' QB coach to OC last offseason after 2022 Eagles' offensive coordinator Shane Steichen was hired to be the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.

Ron Jaworski joined the 94WIP Morning Show on Tuesday and was asked what he is looking for in a new Eagles' OC.

"I think it's got to be someone who is very creative," said Jaws. "I want to see a QB coach, a guy who has worked with quarterbacks. As an offensive scheme, you must dictate the terms of engagement."

Eagles GM Howie Roseman and head coach Nick Sirianni will hold a press conference on Wednesday, January 24th.
