Terrell Owens made new comments about his 2005 fight with Hugh Douglas on Fubo Sports Getcha Popcorn Ready with T.O. & Hatch.
"It was just me just really just standing up for myself man," Owens said. "Hugh was on the team, then he wasn't on the team, then they brought him back. So he was like the team ambassador at that point. I didn't know the extent of the title...And him and Donovan they are boys or what have you. I don't even know why they were upset or he was upset, because I was hurt, I was in the training room, getting treatment. Why would I be trying to skip practice, that's not even in my DNA?"
Douglas remembers it differently.
"I've said this many of times, if I was starting a team T.O. would be one of the first receivers I would take," Douglas said on Thursday's 94WIP Midday Show. "I have always applauded his work ethic and the way that he handles his business. Me and T.O. are cool now, but it's amazing how T.O. is misremembering—I'm not going to call him a liar. But he is misremembering the story. T.O. said something to me first, I wasn't even in the training room.
"Me and Donovan aren't friends like that. Me and Donovan are cordial. Donovan is Ike's friend. When I speak to Five, Five will speak, he will cordial but we've had our run ins before. So that was not true. I think T.O. is forgetting all of the history of that, that went down."
