The biggest supporter of Carson Wentz in the city of Philadelphia is most likely former Eagles linebacker and host of the 94WIP afternoon show, Ike Reese.

Reese was asked by Angelo Cataldi on Tuesday morning if he's still in the Carson Wentz camp.

"Of course I am, of course I am," Reese said. "Yes, of course I am and you should be too Angelo, you should still be in the Wentz camp also."

So what has gone wrong?

"Well I mean listen, I think when a guy has a tough year like Carson is having—in large part due, in my opinion, to what's around him and certainly in part to his own play and regression of what has happened this year," Reese said. "Listen, it's not due to a lack of effort and trying and wanting to. The guy puts it on the line for his teammates every week, it's just so happened that it's not been a positive result for him this year. I just don't feel the need to abandon a guy or kick a guy when he's down. I just believe that's the time you support the guy even more. I don't think he's done anything that deserves having the fan base turn on him and start trashing him, and that's just how I am. That's how I roll. That's how I was raised. That's the type of teammate I was and those are the type of teammates I would want to have."
