Jerry Jones is well aware of the caliber of player the Philadelphia Eagles acquired in Robert Quinn.
Howie Roseman pulled off another shrewd move this week, landing the pass-rusher from the Chicago Bears for a fourth-round pick. The Eagles sit undefeated through six games, and the Quinn addition should only help bolster their already formidable defense.
The 32-year-old had a brief run with the Cowboys earlier in his career, spending the 2019 campaign in Dallas. Asked Friday in his weekly appearance on the “K&C Masterpiece” about the Eagles’ acquisition, Jones was complimentary of the former Cowboy.
“Robert Quinn is a really top player. He did a great job for us, so he’ll help them,” Jones said. “... By the way, he’s a great guy. I really enjoyed his time with the Cowboys.”
Dallas also added to its defensive line this week, landing Johnathan Hankins from the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Cowboys lost their first meeting against Philly in Week 6, but they’ll see Quinn in Week 16 when they host the Eagles at AT&T Stadium on Christmas Eve.
