Neither Joe Giglio nor Hugh Douglas ranked Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts among the top nine current NFL QBs.

Last week, 94WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks opined that Purdy will "definitely" be ranked ahead of Hurts in this offseason's NFL QB rankings from various national outlets.

"Yes, definitely," Shorr-Parks said on the 94WIP Morning Show on Febuary 12th. "I don't even think it's debatable. Now, I don't think he was that great in the playoffs. Like, he was obviously good at the end of the NFC Championship game. I thought he had some moments last night early on, he cooled off pretty considerably after that first quarter. But we saw last year, I know Jalen was dinger a little bit in the rankings, but Jalen went from the mid 20's after 2021 to top five or six in most rankings going into last season.

"And, I also think if you polled all 32 GM's, I'd be curious to who more would take. I think both probably get dinger as a result of who their around, but I don't think it's a slam dunk that the majority of GM's would take Jalen over Brock Purdy."
