"I think you give us coaches enough time to think, we're going to come up with some crazy stuff. I think I've said it after the Denver game, he's just been so good with the ball in his hands. When he gets that ball in his hands he makes plays, so why wouldn't we use him? I know we've got great playmakers on offense, but why wouldn't we use all of the resources we have?

Slay was used a decoy to set up a big Miles Sanders red zone rush and eventual touchdown in Tuesday's 27-17 win over Washington, but Sirianni isn't ruling out giving him the ball next time.

"I know yesterday he was a decoy, and I want all of our opponents to know that he can get the football and we want him to get the football. Whether that means that we will or we use him as a decoy again, we'll let them determine that."

Slay, 30, is having an outstanding season on defense, as he has three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, a career-high three touchdowns, and nine passes defended.

He had some fun with the offensive play on Twitter after Tuesday's win.

These two are really developing a special player-coach relationship.
