Pittsburgh sports radio host Andrew Fillipponi of 93.7 The Fan is doubling down on his Nick Sirianni take that garnered a lot of attention in Philadelphia, regarding this viral video of Sirianni from Saturday's win over the Giants.
"Act like you have been there before, recognize the opponent," Fillipponi told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Thursday. "It is a team that stinks. They had a negative turnover differential. They won nine games. You scored 48 point against them earlier in the year. They are a piece of gum on your shoe!"
"I thought you guys were an underdog town?" Fillipponi said when asked if he thought Sirianni's antics fit the Philadelphia brand. "I thought that was your mantra? I thought that was your M.O.? I thought that was what you wanted to be?"
Here is what Fillipponi originally said of the video on his podcast earlier this week.
“I have no reason other than geography to dislike this Eagles team, but you know what really pissed me off? You’re going to be shocked by this. Sirianni, don’t f—ing look at the camera like that you goddamn goof,” Fillipponi said (12:30 in player above). “He’s making this face like ‘You like that?’ like one of those deals, like ‘try to stop this.’ You’re playing the f—ing Giants, OK?”
