Flyers goalie Carter Hart will miss the remainder of the season with an MCL sprain in his left knee, the organization announced on Thursday.
Hart, 22, has struggled in his third NHL season posting a 9-11 record in 25 starts with a .877 save percentage and a 3.67 goals against average, both career worst marks.
The Flyers are finishing up a disappointing season, sitting at 22-20-7 with 51 points, just 6th in the East division. They have seven games remaining.
