94WIP, Phillies reach new multi-year deal

The Philadelphia Phillies and Entercom Communications Corp. have reached a new multi-year radio deal, which will keep the Phillies, Scott Franzke, and Larry Andersen on SportsRadio94WIP.

Kevin Frandsen will join Franzke and Andersen in the radio booth, but Jim Jackson's 14-year run as a Phillies radio broadcaster has come to an end as he announced on Twitter back in October.

“We’re eagerly awaiting the return of Phillies baseball and are happy to announce a new broadcast extension with the club,” said David Yadgaroff, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Philadelphia. “As the undisputed voice of the Philadelphia sports fan, we look forward to putting listeners right in the middle of the action through premier game day coverage and keeping them caught up with their favorite team throughout the season.”
