Rob Ellis to replace Glen Macnow on 94WIP Saturday's with Mike Sielski

Rob Ellis will replace Glen Macnow joining Mike Sielski on SportsRadio 94WIP's Saturday morning show from 10am-1pm.

Ellis, who filled in for Joe DeCamara on Wednesday's 94WIP Morning Show, made the announcement on the air at 8:00am on Wednesday, while Sielski called in.

"It's going to be terrific," Sielski said. "We very much wanted to keep the tone and the content and the humor that Glen and obviously Ray Didinger brought to the show over time...Most importantly, I think it's going to put to bed the idea that Rob and I are the same person."

"There's a lot of ears on that show and I am absolutely thrilled and appreciative to be a part of it," Ellis said.

Ellis and Sielski will do their first show together this Saturday, July 20th before Sielski goes to Paris to cover the Olympics.

Macnow retired from WIP after 31 years. His final show was on Saturday, July 13th and he became the third member of the WIP Hall Of Fame, joining Angelo Cataldi and Tom Brookshier.

Ellis joined WIP in 2007 and left in 2015, only to return in 2018. Ellis has hosted afternoon drive, Eagles Postgame, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers pre and post, as well as his own evening show on 94WIP.

In addition to his radio experience, Rob has worked in television for over 20 years and is a two-time Emmy award winner.
