Sitting on an airplane for multiple hours can test one's patience and anxiety.
However, two women on a recent American Airlines flight clearly couldn’t handle being on the plane any longer, as video shows them allegedly fighting over who gets to deplane first, reported Fox News.
The incident occurred over the weekend on American Airlines flight 2275 from Los Angeles to Phoenix.
One of the passengers sitting a few rows back from the women captured the moment as it escalated.
“Almost missed my connecting flight with @AmericanAir in Phoenix because two girls decided to fist fight over who was getting off the plane first. I can’t," the passenger captioned the tweet.
While other passengers waiting to deplane block out most of the fight in the video, shouting between the two women fighting can be heard.
At one point, a flight attendant can also be heard over the speaker saying, "Call for law enforcement, call for law enforcement."
While there were no reports of injuries or arrests, American confirmed an incident occurred.
"American received a report of an alleged altercation between two customers while waiting to deplane from flight 2275 from Los Angeles (LAX) to Phoenix (PHX)," a spokesperson told the outlet.
In January, the FAA implemented more stringent policies in response to the siege at the U.S. Capitol and will no longer give disorderly passengers a warning.
The FAA's maximum fine for unruly behavior is $35,000.
