January 17, 2019 While both the A’s and Giants are in need of help in their respective rotations, the value of Gray, the one-time Oakland ace, is uncertain.
Gray hasn’t tallied 30 starts since his 2015 All-Star campaign with the A’s and toppled out of the Yankee rotation at the end of last season. The right-hander ended 2018 with a 4.90 ERA in 30 outings, including 23 starts.
