Charles Barkley calls San Francisco 'dirty' as he intensifies feud with Warriors fans

What did San Francisco ever do to Charles Barkley?

The NBA on TNT analyst and Hall of Famer continued his feud with Golden State Warriors fans during Tuesday’s Game 4 by taking a potshot at the city of San Francisco.

Barkley’s comment came during a delay from a roof leak inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, which was believed to be from the rainfall in Dallas that day.

“You know the thing about all this rain? It’s not raining in San Francisco to clean up all those dirty ass streets they got there,” Barkley said. “ San Francisco, you know, it’s a great city but all that dirtiness and homelessness, y’all gotta clean that off the streets.”

The broadcast then cut to a shot of Warriors fans watching the game outside the Chase Center on a clear, sunny day in the Bay Area.

“That looks beautiful,” Kenny Smith said.

“No, no, no go three blocks over by our hotel,” Barkley replied.

Barkley has been engaged in a feud with Warriors fans since the start of the Western Conference finals, explaining he was picking the Mavericks to win the series because he “hates” Warriors fans and wants to see them suffer.

He also sported a Boban Marjanovic jersey while on the set for Game 2 as Warriors fans serenaded him with “Chuck, you suck” chants.

Barkley has said he enjoys the trolling and has leaned into the TV villain role.

With the Mavericks winning on Tuesday night, they have forced a Game 5 which means Barkley will be back in San Francisco to what will surely consist of some good back-and-forth with Chuck and Dub Nation.
