They’re both NBA champions, both former Warriors and they were both practicing together earlier this week.
Jordan Poole and Kevin Durant probably have a lot to talk about.
While Durant spent three seasons in Golden State, making three Finals trips, winning two rings and two Finals MVP awards – Poole also spent three seasons in The Bay and helped the franchise hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
On Wednesday, Poole’s close friend and personal content creator Jordan Jimenez shared some cool photos of JP and KD working out together, while @TheWarriorsTalk shared video.
Hmmm … I wonder if Draymond Green was a topic of conversation.
Poole was shipped to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul earlier this offseason, less than a year after getting punched by Green in a practice. We don’t know of any physical altercations between Draymond and Durant, but that 2018 locker room tirade probably didn’t help keep KD around past 2019.
The two were never teammates, but no matter where Poole and Durant go for the rest of their careers, they’ll always be remembered by Warriors fans.
