"If you’re the Warriors and Steph, you want it over,” Friedell said. “You wanna do anything you possibly can not to extend this thing. It’s gonna be fun as hell watching that game tomorrow. Because, around the league, everyone is kinda saying 'Oh my gosh, the Warriors are about to do this. Again.' It is stunning given where things have been the past couple seasons.
"But to see Steph stay at this level and to see my man Andrew Wiggins completely change the narrative about his career? We’ve talked about it all season, but I can not remember a player this level of his career changing the way so many people think about him. It’s a credit to all the work he’s put in and how he’s fit in out. But the Warriors are on the verge of something that is not only incredibly special, but something that is so unbelievable given where this season started.”
