Dozens of athletes with Bay Area sports ties teed off Friday for the first round of the star-studded American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament.

Steph Curry stole the show (of course he did) with a 97-yard eagle on hole No. 13, but he finds himself tied for 10th through 18 played. Former A’s southpaw Mark Mulder is tied with Annika Sorenstam for second place after Friday’s action. Mulder was a three-peat champion of the event from 2015-17.
