The Splash Brothers will be reunited for the first time in 941 days on Sunday night at Chase Center.

Hours before the Warriors took on the Cleveland Cavaliers – and Klay Thompson’s much-anticipated return – Steph Curry posted a fun hype video for this Splash Brother. This one goes beyond Thompson’s impact on the court as it also highlights his unique personality that makes him one of the most beloved athletes in Bay Area history.

Steph and Klay warmed up together on Monday before taking on the Miami Heat. No more tune-ups, mental reps or practice runs for Thompson, though. Klay Day is finally here.

Earlier this week, Curry also narrated a heartfelt, ESPN-produced tribute video that spotlighted Thompson’s grind over the past two-and-a-half years. Thompson hasn’t played since Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, when he tore his ACL. In Nov. 2020, Klay tore his Achilles.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr has assured that Thompson will start alongside Curry in Sunday’s backcourt.

"I've had a few people ask me, 'What are you going to do with Klay?," Kerr said Saturday. "It's, like, he's Klay Thompson. When you can score 60 points in 29 minutes, generally, the coach should start you. Klay's going to start. I've talked to him about it."

Thompson’s return will be special for a multitude of reasons, but it will be a treat to see the Splash Brothers back in action together again.
