The Warriors are among the hottest teams in the NBA thus far. With outstanding performances, in what seems like night-in and night-out from Stephen Curry, the Warriors sit atop the Western Conference at 12-2 and Curry being labeled as the frontrunner for MVP. The Dubs have been getting a lot of contributions from their bench, which is a big reason why the Warriors have one of the top offenses and defenses in the league.
Things will seemingly get better once James Wiseman and Klay Thompson return. Stephen A. Smith seems to agree as the First Take host so eloquently put it during his show Tuesday morning.
"Let me be very specific: If KLAY is back at 85%, not a 100%, not 90%, but at 85%... It's a wrap in the Western Conference," Smith said boisterously during a segment on First Take. "There's only one team that has the chance to beat them and that's the Brooklyn Nets -- If Kyrie Irving comes back and they get their act together."
Smith then doubled down on that hot take, saying the Warriors will not just win the NBA Finals this year, but if they stay healthy they can win two of the next three Finals. A big reason he feels Curry, who has three NBA titles, will push to win his fifth ring over the next three seasons is to surpass LeBron James.
"Do you know why I say three? I mean two out of the next three. Because Steph wants to eclipse LeBron. LeBron has four. Steph would have five,” Smith said."

I don't know if that's necessarily the reason for Curry wanting another title, but he does seem like a man on a mission this season. In a highly anticipated matchup between the Brooklyn Nets, which many saw as a preview of this year's finals, Curry led all scorers with 37 points, cruising by the Nets 117-99.
The Warriors have built an outstanding team, and have a lot to build off of having had three lottery picks in the past two drafts. The key however like Smith pointed out, is staying healthy which has been an issue for both Curry and Klay.
