The Warriors roster continues to grow. While the team has 14 rostered players and does not anticipate adding more, they signed a Summer League standout to a two-way contract.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors will sign Daeqwon Plowden to a two-way deal.
Plowden has shined for the Warriors thus far in Summer League, averaging 16.6 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting and a ridiculous 48 percent from deep in two games. Plowden, 25, is a 6-foot-6-inch wing who last played for the Osceola Magic in the G-League.
The Bowling Green product averaged 10.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game on 46.8 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent from deep last season with Osceola.
Currently, the Warriors have Reece Beekman and Pat Spencer as two-way players. Quinten Post, who has not made his Summer League debut, is also expected to sign a two-way deal, but has not signed his rookie contract. Spencer is the clear odd man out in that group.
