WATCH: Dub Nation greets Warriors after they arrive in Tokyo

The Warriors said ‘What up’ to their fans on the other side of the world, right around midnight Wednesday when most Bay Area fans were sleeping.

Golden State clearly has a global appeal, given the expected reactions from the Japanese fans who got a rare up-close look at the reigning champs.

Check out some of the scenes from the Tokyo airport upon the Dubs’ arrival.

With the 16-hour time difference in Tokyo, the Warriors landed about 4 p.m. local time. After signing autographs and getting a cat figurine from a fan, Jordan Poole went out with his close friend and photographer Jordan Jimenez for some ramen.

The next few days will be a whirlwind, including the two preseason games against the Washington Wizards, but it should be an amazing experience for the squad. The Warriors will tip-off at 3 a.m. PT Friday and 10 p.m. PT Saturday before heading back to the Bay.
