49ers fans take over SoFi Stadium for NFC Championship

All week long, the digital tug of war between San Francisco 49ers fans and Los Angeles Rams fans for tickets was a key storyline. Judging from the early atmosphere at SoFi Stadium, the Rams will be surrounded by a sea of red jerseys once again.

Back in Week 18, Rams quarterback Matt Stafford had to use a silent count at his home stadium and it appears he might have to do it again. The 49ers Faithful are flooding SoFi, and many have come to call it Levi’s South for the sheer amount of red and gold.


According to NBC Sports Bay Area, nearly two-thirds of fans in attendance are expected to root for the 49ers against their NFC West rival Sunday. Check out some more pregame videos from SoFi:

Crowd noise figures to be a major factor as the 49ers seek their second Super Bowl in three years. Super Bowl LVI, of course, will be held at SoFi Stadium on Feb. 13.
