SAN FRANCISCO (95.7 The Game) - The San Francisco 49ers have signed free agent safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, his representation announced Wednesday afternoon, via ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Clinton-Dix, 28, didn't play in 2020 after the Cowboys surprisingly cut him before the season could even begin. Despite being released, he still earned $2.25 million guaranteed.

Clinton-Dix spent the first four-and-a-half seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers after they selected him in the first round of the 2014 draft out of Alabama.

He was later traded to Washington for the second half of the 2018 season and spent the 2019 season with the Chicago Bears.

Clinton-Dix has 16 interceptions in 96 career games played.
