If the three remaining Power-5 conferences play the season out and there is a College Football Playoff, does it devalue a National Championship at all?

Dabo Swinney doesn’t think so, and the guys on Dukes & Bell talked about it and whether this would be an issue if there was one ruling power over the entire sport?

Carl talked about a championship not meaning as much if the Big Ten and Pac-12 don’t play.

“I completely disagree with Dabo Swinney, go ask Ryan Day if he thinks this championship will be devalued, go ask Jim Harbaugh,” Dukes said. “This whole thing about well somebody has to win it, this won’t mean any less, that’s Dabo Swinney. Your team has been in it the last five years.

"If your conference today, or tomorrow or three weeks from now decided well you guys aren’t going to play, Dabo would be saying the same thing Ryan Day is saying right now, it’s very hypocritical to say that.”

Will said this wouldn’t be an issue if there was a College Football Czar.

“This entire thing has screamed the need for somebody to bring some uniformity to the college football landscape,” Palaszczuk said. “I understand you’re going to take that out of the commissioner’s cold dead hands, because they’re never ever going to want to cede the power that’s been given to them.”
