When the famed platform was acquired by Triller, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland mentioned that fans can look forward to expansions into sports, comedy and live events. And it appears Damon Wayans wants to be the first in the comedy sector.

The storied comedian spoke on a potential VERZUZ between himself and Dave Chappelle in a recent radio interview. Wayans admitted that he hadn't been keeping up with the battles between musicians, but when he asked if they "do it with comedians," and the hypothetical question was posed about who he'd go against, the answer was simple.
"Chappelle, I’m calling him out,” Wayans stated. The former In Living Color and My Wife And Kids star is living out his recent days being utterly hilarious with his grandchildren on TikTok, but we're sure he could easily brush off his comedic chops for a showdown with Chappelle.
Fans also listed their dream comedic picks which include Kevin Hart vs. Katt Williams and Marlon Wayans vs. Affion Crockett. Chappelle has yet to respond on being called out, but whenever the VERZUZ team is ready to bring this to life, we'll be the first in line.
