"Happy anniversary, Portia," DeGeneres, 63, wrote to Instagram under a photo of the two of them lounging outside. "I'm the luckiest girl in the world because I get to share my life with you."

De Rossi took to her own social media account to gush about her wife. The "Arrested Development" star, 48, posted a gallery of photos throughout the marriage, including a throwback picture of the couple in the early days of their relationship.
"13 years ago I married the love of my life," she wrote. "And it just keeps getting better ♥️🥂."
DeGeneres and de Rossi started dating in 2004 and married after same-sex marriage was legalized in California.
In February, the two opened up to People about their romance and managing their busy schedules.
"We've grown together as a couple, and we really consider each other and put our relationship first," de Rossi said. "By doing that, you become a lot more solid. I can't imagine spending time with anyone but her."
DeGeneres added, "We think the same things, say the same things at the same time, finish each other's sandwiches — no, sentences. We're in a rhythm that's easy."
Fans of DeGeneres are waiting to see what the longtime television host and comedian does next in her career. In May, she announced she’s ending the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” after 19 seasons amid complaints of a toxic work environment.
“The past 18 years have changed my life,” she told her fans in a pretaped monologue. “You’ve changed my life. I am forever grateful to all of you for watching, for laughing, for dancing — sometimes crying. This show has been the greatest experience of my life and I owe it all to you."
DeGeneres later told Hollywood Reporter that she is looking for something new to challenge her.
“When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore. I need something new to challenge me.”
