She even told the host, who was dressed as Smokey the Bear, about some memories from the big day in her youth.

Paltrow is the daughter of late movie director Bruce Paltrow and the actress Blythe Danner so her trick-or-treat route had some serious names on it.

“Well, Arnold Schwarzenegger used to live on our street,” she said. “We would knock on his door for candy.”

She went on saying the former California governor wasn’t always too keen on handing out candy on the big day. One special night when they didn’t receive candy from his house, Paltrow and her friends decided to get their revenge.

“We did end up T.P.-ing his house,” she said. “We did it, unfortunately, to a few house there. But he was our pride and joy.”

“Don’t tell him,” she asked the host and crowd.

No word yet from Schwarzenegger.
