Despite holding a place as the Texans third leading receiver, tight end Jordan Akins is a surprise inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Akins, 29, did not appear on the Texans injury report all week and played in the team's first nine games of the season. A free agent at the end of the season, Akins trails only Brandin Cooks and David Johnson in targets (28) and receptions (21) this season.

Brevin Jordan, Anthony Auclair, and Pharaoh Brown are the Texans active tight ends for Sunday's game in Nashville. Brown is returning after missing two games with a hamstring injury.

The Texans announced on Saturday that Jonathan Greenard (foot), who leads the team with seven sacks, and Cre'von LeBlanc (illness) did not travel with the team.

Deshaun Watson, Jeff Driskell, Davion Davis, and Royce Freeman make up the rest of the Texans inactives.
