"Jeopardy!" has landed on its new hosts.
After late host Alex Trebek guided “Jeopardy!” to legendary game show status, it became clear that after his passing in November 2020, finding his replacement was going to be a difficult feat.

First there was a year filled with big name guest hosts, including LeVar Burton, Katie Couric, Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta, among others.
Eventually, Mike Richards, the popular game show’s former longtime executive producer, was chosen as the replacement before being ousted following controversy surrounding contentious remarks he previously made about women on a podcast.
Finally, the beloved trivia show settled on its two hosts for season 38.
As the New York Post reports, season 38 of “Jeopardy!” will premiere sometime in 2022 with Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings at the helm once again.
“We are delighted to let you know that Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will continue to share hosting duties through the end of Jeopardy! Season 38, and Michael Davies will remain as executive producer. We’re so pleased to have such an excellent and experienced team in front of and behind the camera as we head into 2022!” Sony's press release notes.
Former “Big Bang Theory” star Bialik, 45, had already been named as co-host last summer.
Bialik started her hosting duties in August of 2021. The fan-favorite former contestant-turned-producer, Ken Jennings, 47, was selected to stand behind the podium soon after.
Although Jennings did admit recently that he was “just terrified” to replace Trebek. His first outing was aired to coincide with the first anniversary of Trebek’s death, though Jennings did not know that at the time of taping.
“They didn’t want to put that in my head," said Jennings. "So I was not told until after [filming the episode] that it was the November 8 show."
Jennings added that he also wore a pair of Trebek’s own cuff links, given to him by the Canadian native’s widow, Jean Currivan Trebek.
It sounds like "Jeopardy!" is in good hosting hands.
