(SportsRadio 610) - Texans linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill has been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list and the team activated running back David Johnson.
Grugier-Hill, who was injured in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list Monday. Johnson, who head coach David Culley said he learned tested positive Saturday, missed Sunday's game. The running back, however, was activated Monday.
The Texans received some good news late Sunday, when it was revealed Grugier-Hill suffered no ligament damage, rather a knee sprain against Seattle. But Monday's news puts Grugier-Hill's availability in question beyond just the knee injury.
Grugier-Hill is the Texans' leading tackler and one of their top linebackers this season. Johnson is the Texans' second-leading rusher on the season and has the most rushing yards of any player still on the team (176).
The Texans entered the game with the league's least efficient offense, both running and passing, according to DVOA.
