HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610)- Texans rookie receiver Tank Dell did not play during Saturday's 28-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins after experiencing tightness during pregame warmups.
"Tank will be fine," Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said. "We didn't think it would be smart to put him out there, but Tank will be fine."
Ryans did not specify what part of Dell's body was bothering him, and a Texans spokesperson did not have anymore information. The team did not make Dell available to reporters after the game.
The third round pick out of Houston impressed during two joint practices with the Dolphins after catching five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Texans first preseason game against the New England Patriots.
