The annual Day Of Giving event - now in its sixth year - is the biggest fundraiser for the Salvation Army Austin, the largest non-profit provider of family emergency shelter in Central Texas. The Salvation Army operates both the Austin Shelter for Women and Children, and the Rathgeber Center for Families.
