ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - With the weather finally starting to warm up, you might be thinking about heading to your favorite local ice cream spot for a scoop. And if you're planning to bring your dog along, Clementine's Creamery might be the place to go.
The nationally-recognized ice cream shop known for its boozy flavors now has a new line of dog-friendly, artisan pup-cups. According to an Instagram post, the ice cream is being made thanks to a partnership with Kansas City-based Mixed Mutt Creamery.
The new flavors are:
Banana Peanut Butter Dream: lactose-free whole milk, peanuts, cane sugar, gelatin, banana, water, organic chamomile, and salt.
Barking Maple Bacon: lactose-free whole milk, cane sugar, gelatin, natural maple bacon flavor, water, organic California poppies and salt.
Blueberry YumYum: lactose-free whole milk, cane sugar, gelatin, natural vanilla flavor, water, organic blueberries, organic calendula flowers and salt.
And it gets better! With each purchase of a pup cup through the month of March, $.50 will be donated to Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
"Stop by one of our scoop shops on your walk today to treat yourself and your pup! We will have limited quantities to start, but more coming soon," Clementine's promises.
Clementine's has been awarded numerous titles since opening in 2014. In 2019, its "Gooey Butter Cake" flavor was named the "Sexiest Ice Cream Alive" by Oprah Winfrey's acclaimed "The O List." They have four locations, in Clayton, Lafayette Square, Lake Saint Louis and Southhampton.
