Fans of Disney can now transport themselves to Paris, France at Walt Disney’s all new “Ratatouille”-themed attraction and restaurant dedicated to Pixar’s smallest chef.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open October 1st for Walt Disney Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration, Good Morning America reports.
"In this delicious new attraction, you’ll feel like you’ve shrunk to the size of Chef Remy as you scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant on a wild adventure for the whole family -- no height requirement," the team announced on the Disney Parks Blog. "Based on Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award-winning film, 'Ratatouille,' the experience will be part of a newly expanded France pavilion inside EPCOT."
The restaurant, called La Crêperie de Paris, will offer a French style of cuisine from celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse with menu items like sweet crepes and savory buckwheat galettes.
"We’re looking forward to Remy joining us for The World’s Most Magical Celebration, an 18-month event that will feature new experiences at the four Walt Disney World theme parks and beyond, where shimmering EARidescent décor will appear as if by magic," Jeremy Schoolfield, managing editor at Walt Disney World Resort Public Relations, said in the release.
Walt Disney World has seen a recent increase in attendance, with the park selling out of reservations next week and showing limited availability for the rest of the month.
Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are completely booked for the week of March 13 -19, per the company’s reservations website.
