"It's honestly an honor. I'm so excited and it just lets me know that after my album drops, who knows what the future holds?," she expressed. When she found out that she was a finalist, alongside Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie revealed she was actually "very surprised" and she "didn't believe it."
As far as her "competition" goes, the Icy Girl is rooting for both femcees. "I feel like they both put out great music, so I'm just surrounded by two talented female artists and I'm excited that I'm the third one."
