Tonya Love, was born in Peoria Illinois a moved to Greenville SC in 2019. She is a woman who has always been a storyteller and entertainer at heart as she recalls writing her first story at the age of 9.

Tonya is a wife and mother of 6. She is best known for writing her own, original full length stage plays, producing and directing them under her company IGNITE Entertainment LLC since 2008.


To date Love has written 12 original stage plays, published 1 children’s book, and has numerous poems. Tonya Love is also a new and up coming filmmaker. She is one of the founders of Flaming Elephant Films LLC in Greenville S. C. A film company that she kicked off in February of 2023. Some of her work includes a docu series titled Heal’d n Heal’n, the movie titled HEEL’D filmed in Greenville SC and can be found on Tubi. A number of short films that can be found on Amazon Prime Video. Her biggest project to date, is her first feature film titled Heel’D. Heel’D can be found on Prime video and Tubi. This film follows the life of a young woman hurt by her circumstances but holding on with a mustard seed of faith. Heel’D is a testament of resilience, hope, and second chances.

Tonya Love is all about sisterhood and the bonding of women through prayer, plays and production.
