Sitting down with Big Tigger of The Big Tigger Morning Show, Timbaland shared some insight into the creation of his latest collaborative effort with Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake and he shares what's next for him.

These three are not shy with each other as they all have collaborated on various projects with one another. Timbo said when they got together for "Keep Going Up" it felt like a reunion, "like we went off to college or live life and now we back together" he added.
"To come together like this... its almost like going away and coming back home. It's very joyful" he said, sharing that moments like these makes him "cherish" life.
When asked who originally had the idea for the single, the award-winning producer gave the credit to God. "I feel like it was God's timing" he said, adding that "everyone was in sync" when the idea came about. He mentioned that they all had it on their minds, it was just a matter of actually sitting down and recording it.
Reminiscing on their VMA reunion, he shared that he got very candid with Nelly about wanting do another project with her. "We need to maximize on this energy that we're in right now and just keep going up," he told her. "And it was perfect 'cause we took the title 'Keep Going Up,' like what does that mean? Do it live here? Or do we keep going up, keep evolving?"
Answering those questions for themselves they realized, "we should do an album together" and Timbaland confirmed that they will be.
But what does "Keep Going Up" mean to Timbaland? He said the song represents the fact that "we all fall down but guess what we 'gotta keep getting up."
Wanting to make a song with a message that is uplifting, he shared that he struggled trying to do so without it sounding corny.
At this current stage in his life, he revealed has a laundry list of things he needs to cross off of his list as far as musical projects. "I feel like 'ima do everything that I've always wanted to do now," he said like releasing another instrumental album and doing some remakes but he's still working on getting out of his head and not thinking too much about releasing things.
And in terms of the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop, Timbo revealed his "Mt. Rushmore" of producers: Dr. Dre, Quincy Jones, Prince, Mally Mall, Pete Rock or DJ Premier.
