(610 Sports) -- The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders have a long-standing rivalry on the football field, now they have two wide receivers that are trying to take that rivalry to the racetrack.

The back and forth banter began Tuesday on Twitter, with Ruggs taking a shot at Hardman about his 40-yd dash time, which was slightly slower than Ruggs' time.

It didn't take Hardman long to respond, suggesting the two settle the debate on "the dirt."

So, is this a race that's really gonna happen? Fans of both teams seemed to be fully behind the idea, even though this seemed like it may have been an organized Twitter beef, with both players adding #ad to their tweets and Bounty- yes, that Bounty- chimed in on the matter, referencing their tag line of being the QUICKER picker upper.

Who knows if this race will actually happen, perhaps it will be a race sponsored by Bounty in the offseason or maybe there is something else up their sleeve. One thing we do know, is that these two speedsters will have a chance to face off on November 12th, when the Chiefs visit the Raiders in Las Vegas.
