There were plenty of big moments for the Chiefs during their rout of the Raiders on Sunday afternoon, but there is, of course, way more interest in what happened before the game. After the Raiders met for a pregame huddle on the Chiefs' logo, it took Kansas City exactly one (1) play to take a lead that they'd never give back. The Raiders got thoroughly roasted for the stunt, with the jokes and takes spilling over into the usual Monday media rounds -- including Good Morning Football's Kyle Brandt's weekly chat with Cody and Gold.
"If you decide if that's what you're going to do that day, and you're like, screw it, we're going to take over this house and stomp on their logo, you can't fumble on the first play of the game," Brandt said. "Second play of the game, fine. Second series of the game, oh please happen. The first play of the game? You look like imbeciles. That was so bad and unclutch of the Raiders to do that. But it was also just so, so Raiders.
"Full disclosure: I don't even mind that they tried that ... if they felt on that particular day that, that screw it, we're going to do this our way, and we're going to make this personal and petty, fine, I don't even hate it. Try something. But god, you can't fumble on the first play. You're killing me. You're absolutely killing me."
