It's been a weird December for the Chiefs. Despite going 2-1 through their first three games of the month, questions about how good the team really is have arisen after the loss to Cincinnati and two wins against the Broncos and Texans that were far closer than they needed to be. So can the Chiefs really still make a deep playoff run? And what was there to take away from their overtime win against the worst team in football? 610's Chiefs Insider Pete Sweeney joined Fescoe In The Morning to give his take.

"I think it's be healthy," he said. "And I just keep stressing that it'd be nice for them to play a couple clean games in a row here. It's been a little sloppy. I think the problem right now is playing clean, meaning win the turnover battle. The fact that they've been able to lose the turnover battle and win five of the eight games is just incredible, when you really look at the historical numbers. The protection could be better – I'm not sure that it is. The tackling could be better – I think that could be improved. The kicking operation, I think can be improved when they get this holding thing figured out. I think there's little things that, if you just clean up A, than B will be a lot better, and you won't be in close calls against the Texans."
