On Wednesday afternoon, the Chiefs announced that they activated wide receiver Mecole Hardman from their Reserve/Injured list, putting him on their active roster.
Hardman hasn't played since Week 9, a 20-17 overtime win against the Tennessee Titans. After missing the following week with an injury, he was placed on Kansas City's Reserve/Injured list. If he had not been activated today, he would have had to remain on IR the rest of the year and been inelligble for the playoffs. This year, Hardman has 25 receptions for 295 yards and 4 touchdowns. In order to bring him onto the active roster, the team waived offensive tackle Geron Christian.
