After all the speculation about trading up to get a wide receiver, the Chiefs surprised some by staying put -- for the most part. Though they did trade up to take Washington cornerback Trent McDuffie, Brett Veach generally stayed close to his original spots, only moving up to 21 and keeping the 30th overall pick. There were mixed emotions about trading up to 21 -- dealing with New England always creates some skepticism -- but fans were generally pleased to get some secondary help:
