The Chiefs' first injury report of the 2021 season was released on Wednesday, and edge rusher Frank Clark, as well as wide receiver Mecole Hardman, were two of the more notable names to show up:
Clark's inclusion isn't surprising, as the Chiefs' edge rusher has been dealing with a hamstring issue through most of training camp. Hardman's oblique is a bit more surprising, though both were able to practice in a limited capacity. As for Tyrann Mathieu, who remains on the reserve/COVID list, Andy Reid said that the testing is improving, but Mathieu is still being held out of practice:
