Listening to NFL players talk about their first pro paycheck is always entertaining. The stories are either super heart-warming or at least a little bit funny, and Mecole Hardman's is no different. When talking to 610's Cody and Gold on Thursday morning, Hardman explained the worst thing he bought with his first NFL paycheck.
"OK, I was in Dallas and I went into Neiman-Marcus," he said. "And I didn't even know they cost that much, I just knew they looked good -- I bought two pairs of designer sneakers and two shirts. And I didn't know the shirts were like $900 a piece. So I went up the counter and I was looking at the total being like, 'damn, what did I buy?' This shirt is 900, this one is 950, the shoes are 1,000 a piece. I'm like, 'All right, this is the last time I'm coming into this store.'"
