Have the Chiefs finally hit rock bottom? After Week 7's ugly loss to Tennessee, there haven't been a lack of takes saying as much. It's not totally unfair -- during the Patrick Mahomes/Andy Reid era, the Chiefs have never going into November under, or close to, .500. So is this what rock bottom actually looks like? That was the first question thrown at The Athletic's Nate Taylor, who spent half an hour chatting about all things Chiefs with 610's Cody and Gold on Tuesday afternoon.
"When the schedule came out, you look at it, you analyze it, you try to predict things. Who would have thought that Chiefs-Raiders might get flexed out because of the Chiefs?" he said. "It's in play now ... Rock bottom is if they lose, at home, in primetime, to the New York Giants. I've watched the Giants. I don't know what they're actually good at. So if you lose to a team that is kinda meh in like a lot of different areas, and you're in such a free fall that it's a game that I would classify as the first 'must-win' of the season? Then that would be rock bottom because they would have no one to blame but themselves."
