The worst-kept secret of the last two weeks is no more: Pat Mahomes and Tom Brady are officially your Madden '22 cover athletes. It was widely-speculated that both would be featured on this year's edition, and on Thursday morning, the game's first trailer was released:

It'll be the second Madden cover for both Brady and Mahomes, with the former also being on it in 2018 -- when he was with the Patriots -- and the latter appearing in 2020. They both share the distinct honor of being the first players to ever be on the cover twice - though it still remains to be seen whether being on the cover twice undoes the curse of being on the cover once.
