Tyreek Hill has reportedly been given permission from the Chiefs to seek a trade after contract extension talks have stalled, and the Jets could be a major beneficiary.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Gang Green is among the teams “in serious trade talks” with Kansas City for the six-time Pro Bowler, which would give quarterback Zach Wilson one of the most dynamic offensive forces in the league.

The rival Dolphins are also reportedly in the mix, per Schefter.
Hill, who just turned 28, logged 1,239 receiving yards last season and caught nine touchdown passes. It was the fourth time in the last five years that he eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards, and he has yet to play an NFL season in which he doesn’t earn Pro Bowl honors.
Hill is currently in the final year of a three-year, $54 million deal with the Chiefs. He is one of the best in the league, but doesn’t come without controversy, as he was arrested on domestic violence charges in college and then was under investigation in 2019 for child abuse after his three-year-old son suffered a broken arm. It was later announced that Hill would not be charged.
