(610 Sports) – When the Kansas City Chiefs signed wide receiver Josh Gordon back in September, following Gordon's reinstatement from his sixth suspension from the league, the expectations were that the explosive wide receiver could be a big-play threat alongside Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.

While things haven't exactly played out that way and Chiefs fans have had to temper their expectations for Gordon. Through 5 games, Gordon had 2 catches for 18 yards heading into Sunday's tilt with the Raiders.
Up 21-0 with 6:17 left in the first-half, Gordon was finally able to make his mark in Kansas City. On third and goal from the 1-yard line, Mahomes hit Gordon on a quick toss inside and he hit pay dirt, scoring his first NFL touchdown since 2019, putting Kansas City up 28-0.
Something tells me that the play was designed for Gordon, a chance to get him going and inspire a little confidence. Moving forward, I'd expect to see gordon get a little more involved in the offense as the Chiefs continue to look for a third receiving option behind Hill and Kelce.
