Travis Kelce explains what it was like to be part of Monday Night Football's Manning broadcast

Kelce joined 610's Cody and Gold on Wednesday afternoon.

ESPN's first episode of the Monday Night Football's Manning Brother broadcast was a pretty big hit. The alternate broadcast, which focused less on play-by-play, was more significantly more casual in tone, though viewers were still treated to a lot of insightful commentary that isn't usually a prominent feature of broadcasts. Part of the night even featured a cameo from Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who spoke to 610's Cody and Gold on Wednesday afternoon about what it was like chopping it up with the Mannings.

"That was awesome man," he said. "I thought it was really cool how they brought in a lot of the greats. Even Charles Barkley showed up and talked a little football. IT's just great content. It's kind of a breath of fresh air. That's not to say that the normal Monday Night Football crew isn't fun to listen to, but to hear to hear two Hall of Famers talk football with other guys throughout the league, it was a cool experience. It was a lot more laid back, with just the football game on in the background. I thought it was really cool, and on top of that I enjoyed it when I was hanging out and talking to them."

When asked whether Kelce might want to do something like that with his brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, he even left the door open to the possibility somewhere down the road.

"I think it would be a similar feel," he added. "Maybe a little bit more comedy. Once you get my brother going, man, he's hard to stop. He just keeps it rolling. Who knows. Who knows if there's anything down the line with me and my brother. I know I certainly enjoy doing anything with him."
